I have been browsing these journal entires of my past, on this long abandoned DA account. I am laughing, and cringing, and, if I could, I would use an option to hide my journal completely from view. I do not want to delete my entries, because this past information is a part of myself that I value and do not wish to forget. I just don't want others to see what an utter spaz I was, because I like to think that I have more control over myself these days. So Friday morning I got into Seattle and headed to the convention center for Sakuracon. I had not been to this particular convention in years, and it had made me a bit antsy, since I do not do well in huge crowds. Though I do really miss the times with the old Gang, it was a bit liberating to head to a convention without a group, since it gave me more freedom in my choices of panels. I could hit up concerts, Gaia panels, Magic tournaments, console gaming, lolita tea parties, and studies of mythology and politics behind anime, without worrying that my interests would be uninteresting to companions.
